‘And Sometimes Y’ embodies the spirit of French Neo-Classical art, as well as whimsical 1960's Americana ideologies, made popular by artists like Peter Max. I present these letters as born from royalty, with a queer twist. The vowels are the most valuable letters in the alphabet, and what give the English language it's personality. This work was developed specially for an AIGA-sponsored event, ‘TYPEFORCE: The Annual Chicago Show of Emerging Typographic Allstars.’
