The Five O'Clock Project

The fine people at Proximity Chicago invited me to participate in a super fun screen saver initiative called The Five O'Clock Project that portrays in real time, where in the world it is presently 5:00—5:59PM. A prominent city in each time zone was assigned to a different artist, and I was given the city of Praia, part of a small cluster of islands off the coast of South Africa. The lettering and numbers I developed are inspired by the city's most popular sport, wind surfing!
