Public Media Institute Research Library

The Public Media Institute Research Library is a collection of rare and unique art, architecture and design periodicals. PMIRL was created to establish a dialogue about new urbanism, contemporary art, and graphic design in Chicago. It was this deep, multi-layered charm of the library that inspired the branding. The pattern of accumulate-disperse-accumulate with the literature is illustrated in the fluctuating height and depth of each component.
