Litigation Journal

I was recruited by Chicago design studio, Plural Design to aide in the redesign of American Bar Association's quarterly publication, Litigation Journal, a source of practical information on common practice for lawyers. While redesigning the journal, we focused on arranging the information so it would be inviting to read, while maintaining a conservative appeal by implementing not only a more dynamic grid system, but also using contemporary illustration styles to accompany articles.

While many of the graphic elements and layout styles from my design were maintained in the final iteration of the redesign, the content shown here is only from my pitch comps.

The illustration content featured here was created by illustrator, Sam Bosma, who was later sourced by Litigation Journal as a freelance illustrator.
