I can't get over how amazing Drive was. I'd watch it again and again. Movie night anyone? 02.04.12 1AM

It’s an honor and privilege to be selected for print in any Communication Arts publication. So I was beside myself when I found out that three of my best typographic pieces would be featured in the first annual typography issue! Those projects were Say it Offline, a pair of self promotional lettering prints, Territories, a poster for the 2010 Version Festival opening exhibit, and finally And Sometimes Y, a special series of custom lettering originally prepared for the Chicago exhibition, Typeforce.
There is so much fantastic work included in this book, and the inclusion of typeface design makes for some pretty special final spreads! I used to look forward to the graphic design annual each year, but I’ve got a hunch this new installment from Communication Arts might just steal the spotlight.

In celebration of the first annual TYPEFORCE exhibition—as if you haven’t heard me talking all about this, earlier in the spring—and to accompany the recently published TYPEFORCE book, Public Media Institute and the crew over at Firebelly Design have launched a simple, charming website to direct you to the work of each of the artists involved in the show. Lots of great designers here, so spend some time with it!
I’ll be getting my hands on some TYPEFORCE books this week, so look forward to some documentation.
